The International Monarch Monitoring Blitz is back for its 10th anniversary!
From 31 July to 9 August 2026, join the celebration and help search for monarch butterflies and milkweed plants in your area.
The simplest way to participate is to record any monarchs or milkweed you find using the iNaturalist app or at iNaturalist.ca, your observations will automatically be added to the tally. If you’d like to contribute even more, you can follow the Mission Monarch survey protocol to conduct a more thorough search and count individual plants and butterflies.
