Evaluation processes involve setting clear criteria and benchmarks based on the project’s objectives, employing both quantitative and qualitative methods to measure outcomes against these standards. It can encompass the analysis of data accuracy, volunteer engagement and motivation, behaviour change, scientific skill assessment, contribution to scientific knowledge, and more. Additionally, evaluation seeks to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges faced during the project lifecycle, facilitating an adaptive management process for project managers.
